Hey everyone. Here’s some downtempo drama for you; hope you enjoy it. I thought maybe it might be a bit distracting for conelcast but oddly it isn’t; it helped me a lot while working from home this week (yes, I road-test conelcast eps regularly!). I also realised it’s conelcast’s second birthday! Which had slipped by me, because, well, things are very odd right now and there’s a lot on my mind, as I’m sure is the case with everyone. Anyway, stay safe, and, if you can, stay inside.

Thanks so much for listening and don’t forget to follow me on twitter @conelraduk and subscribe, if you haven’t already, to the Patreon, for higher quality versions of the tracks! Just three bucks US for 2 tracks a month!! There’s extra stuff there too!

There are other ways, including free ways, that you can help too — please see below!

    Bandcamp

I have about six albums of music at conelrad.bandcamp.com. They’re mostly shorter tracks, but these are the albums that inspired conelcast (because people told me that they listened to them while working)/

You can pay whatever you like for them. Some people have done this already (thank you so much).

    Free ways to support!!!!!

If you know artists, coders, creatives or open-plan office workers of any kind who could be interested, do let them know about conelcast. Also, if you know of anywhere I could recommend the podcast — popular blogs/sites for artists and other creatives, for instance — do let me know. You can email me at conelrad@munchhouse.com or get me on Twitter at conelraduk.

You can join the conelrad mailing list here. That’s the best way to keep updated with conelcast and other conelrad projects.

Hey everyone. Here’s a super-upbeat conelcast for you all. I think we need it (I know I do). I hope you like it. And my apologies to Steve Reich, who I think I had in mind when I was working on this, though it sort of moved away from that territory as it developed. I’m also going to be releasing some bonus episodes whenever I can (new ones, short, more sketchlike tracks) while all this nonsense is going on, just in case it helps. The first should already be in your podcast stream.

Thanks so much for listening and don’t forget to follow me on twitter @conelraduk and subscribe, if you haven’t already, to the Patreon, for higher quality versions of the tracks! Just three bucks US for 2 tracks a month!! There’s extra stuff there too!

Music by British electronic musician conelrad.

Hi folks.  This is a tough time and people need neutral distractions and comforting sounds. I’ve decided therefore to try to produce some free extra bonus episodes of conelcast whenever I can. The main fortnightly episodes will not be affected. These bonus episodes are likely to be shorter and simpler than full episodes, and may not be as polished in structure or sound. There will also not be a strict schedule. I will release them as I make them. But hopefully they will still be helpful. Here is the first one. Don’t forget there are more than 50 episodes in the back catalogue already, each one as long as a typical album. Do go back and check them out; maybe they will help. Meanwhile, take care out there, or in there, and let’s go. love conelrad

Hi folks! Something not quite so over-the-top euphoric this week. I hope you like it. It’s more hauntological but it does have a strong beat/groove.
Oh also something I have never said because I figured it was obvious, but just in case — conelcast is mixed for headphones! If you’re listening from your phone speaker, you’re probably missing out. Also if your podcast app has a “volume boost” option or whatever, don’t use it — it’s a cheap compression trick and it’ll make the songs sound real bad!!!
